Jodi Arias Media Interviews Full of Contradictions, Deception, Anger, and Narcissism As ABC Reporter Confronts Her and Is Called A Hater

First she wanted to die and now she wants to live. Then she comes up with a list of what she will do in prison to be productive and of service to others. This includes growing her hair for Locks of Love, teaching illiterate prisoners reading, teaching spanish, and  starting a recycling program. Then in her interviews she states that she has never been to prison so she doesn’t really know what she will be allowed and not allowed to do.

In all of her interviews  her vanity and narcissism showed. First fo all  it is interesting to note that she no longer wears glasses or bangs as we have all seen throughout the trial. This was no doubt an attempt to manipulate the jury into not viewing her as the blond bombshell.

But now , she  has on lip gloss and has restyled her hair without bangs. Although she insisted she didn’t want to be videotaped primping and fixing her hair or wearing striped pants, ABC News would have none of her shenanigans and did a set up shot of her with her striped prison pants.

She was LOVING all of the attention on each of the media venues . She was relishing in the attention as indicated by her completely different demeanor in terms of her body language. When asked about her enjoyment for the media attention she leaked out a smile (duping delight)  as she denied it. Instead, she tried to spin another yarn that she was serving as a spokesperson and poster girl  for other victims of abuse.

Most of the interviewers  were very gentle with her in their attempts to garner her cooperation and a good interview. But the ABC reporter Ryan Owens was the only one who called it like it is and  was super direct and didn’t fall for her manipulation.

She was surprised at the ABC  reporter’s questions. His first question to her was why didn’t she apologize to Travis’ family. Look at how defensive and angry  she looks after hearing the question from the ABC reporter.  Look at the glare in her eyes and her pursed lips. She knew full well that she didn’t  directly apologize to Travis’ family. In fact there is no doubt she  purposely did not say she was sorry because she is not sorry about what she did to Travis (her alleged abuser). She is  only sorry she got caught and that her freedoms were taken away.

It is also important to note that when she said to the reporter that she did apologize to Travis’ family, you could see a shoulder shrug- a clear signal of deception in this context.

The reporter then says  to Jodi. ” No one believes a word out of your mouth so why do you keep talking?”

She is shocked at the question as he eyes widen and he mouth is left agape. She continues to glare at the reporter as she defensively  answers “I’ve lied before.  That doesn’t mean I am a liar by definition by character.”  Sorry Jodi, you have lied so many times that  you are indeed a LIAR by definition and by character. Here we can see how her thought pattern is functioning  which is also is so indicative of the illogical way in which  sociopaths think.

We then see Aria’s anger surfacing again as she looks away and tenses her lips as she says she feels betrayed by the jury. She then lies as she says ” I don’t dislike them.” Her voice dies off at the end of this statement which is a signal of deception as was her shoulder shrug. Of course she dislikes them.  They didn’t fall for her manipulation.

Here we see Jodi leak out her viciousness in terms of her facial expression as she knows she has been manipulating the public by first saying she wanted to die and now saying she wanted to live. She then smugly asks the reporter “Was I lying when I said I wanted to die or lying when I said I wanted to live?”

I believed that her initial interview where she claimed she wanted to die, was pure manipulation, based on how she spoke vocally and the choice of her words.

Once again we see Jodi’s anger resurfacing as the reporter says that Travis’ family wants her dead. She then leans forward and juts out her jaw in anger to the reporter and says “What do you mean , why don’t I kill myself”

The ABC reporter then asks her the brilliant question , if she was on that jury and heard what she heard, “would  you kill you?” Jodi is taken aback and liiterally leans back as she tightens her jaw looks away and tries to come up with an answer. She sighs a huge breath indicating that she is very affected by the poignancy of this question. She swallows hard and the pitch of her voice goes up indicating tension and making it sound as though she is answering with a question mark , as she says  “I don’t believe in Capital punishment?”

So the answer would be “no”. She then leaks out a smirk and closed off her tense throat muscles as she creaks out a “no”. This creak is a signal of deception. I think this quesition hit her hard as we see multiple signals of stress. In her heart of hearts she does believe that she deserves the death sentence for this crime.

The fact that she said that it was her cousin’s words that hit home and made her want to live is nonsense considering her cousin wasn’t a steady presence in the courtroom and  the fact that she refused to giver her cousin’s name out. I do not  think Jodi ever wanted the death sentence. I think she wanted life all along and this was just another lie and another manipulative ploy.

Ryan Owen then says to Jodi ” So you are never going to tell the truth about what went on in  that bathroom” as he doubts her story of self defense.

Jodi is literally taken aback by the question as she jolts her head backwards and tenses her jaw in anger as she says “I don’t know what you mean by that.” in essence Ryan Owen has caught her in her lie and she is responding via her defensive and angry body language.

She then angrily glares at Ryan and then says that she told the truth. She attacks him by saying “I didn’t know you were such a hater when you came to interview me.”

Now we see the REAL Jodi Arias and how she can turn on a dime when things don’t go her way. We saw how  the hate  came out of  her. No longer do we hear that sickening sweet vocal tone which masks her hidden rage.

We see evidence of her continued anger as masked via sarcasm when Ryan Owen asks her about her image makeover from blond bombshell to church mouse librarian look. She smugly replies that’ they don’t sell Clairol hair dye in jail”. In the photo above you can see her phony smile with non raised cheeks and unsmiling eyes and tense mouth as she says this.

She then leaks out the word “crazy as she says that it is a court of law and not a place to go “crazy or let loose.”

Those words reveal exactly what Jodi did to Travis. In  a fit of jealousy. she went “crazy” by  killing him three times over.

Kudos to Ryan Owen for his hard hitting no nonsense questions which hit Jodi to the core and made her leak out her true colors via her   body language , voice ,and speech patterns.

Stefany Flores Body Language Indicates Reluctance to Go With Joran Van der Sloot. Was She and Natalie Killed For Refusing To Have Sex With Him?

Like I said yesterday when I was on Nancy Grace  show , when you look at the body language of Stephany Flores, Joran van der Sloot’s victim, there is something that is clearly off about her walk.

Her head is bowed down  and she does not seem steady on her feet as she follows him when they are both at the front desk of the hotel. There is also a  great deal of  distance between them as Stephany walks in back of Joran. Her gait was tentative and she seemed reluctant to be with him.

In fact, Stefany’s own father who would know his daughter’s walk better than anyone else in the world, remarked that this was not his daughters walk. This speaks volumes to me.

There was no romantic  attraction whatsoever as they walked into the hotel together and up to his room. This  makes me wonder if  perhaps Joran may he may have borrowed some money from her to gamble with at the casino and then told her that he left his  and  wallet money in his hotel room and would pay her back later. Perhaps she went back to the hotel with him to retrieve her money.

But deep down in the recesses of her mind, she knew something was clearly off. That is why her body language reflected hesitancy. Her  head was bowed down as though she was hiding or embarrassed to be going up to this man’s room. She was clearly feeling uncomfortable based on her gait and body posture.

When you look at the photo of them as he opens his door, Stephany’s head is severely bent down and her shoulders are very much rounded. It is a very submissive posture.

This means that her body is telling her that something is wrong. Something is upsetting her. Her head and shoulder roundess indicate that she is feeling insecure.

She needed to turn around  and leave immediately. But  unfortunately she ignored  her instincts and went with this monster to what I think was to most likely retrieve her money and leave.

Joran was not only walking slightly ahead of Stefany. He was walking three to four steps ahead of her . That means he was disrespecting her. That rude behavior could have added to Stefany’s  discomfort. Even if there was no romance and she as there to retrieve her money, she needed to show her some respect.

In addition, he didn’t  even hold the door open for her and  let her in the room as he walked in. This further indicated his  disrespect.

Stefany  must have sensed that there was something very off about Joran. Something bothered her enough for her to want to learn more about him. He said she looked at his computer  when he left the room to get coffee and bread for breakfast but I wonder if it wasn’t before that.

During his confession, as Joran tells, the story of what happened , he said that Stefany  looked at his laptop when he was out of the room  and discovered who he was. He saw that she had used his laptop and as he said in his confession said this  angered him so he killed her.

Since we know that we can’t believe anything Joran has said in the past, I wonder if that was true.

If it is true, did it happen when he may have been taking a shower and he was in the bathroom?  Did he come out of the bathroom and find her using his computer? Is that when he  killed her?

If she was still alive in the morning, why didn’t she join him to get the cup of coffee at the” mercado “across the way? Why was only one cup of coffee residue found in the room instead of two?

A significant  thing that was discovered in with regard to Stephany’s body is that she was having  her period. She was found wearing  red panties and a sanitary pad that was spotted with blood.  Did  Joran go off on her when may have refused to have sex with him because she was menstruating? That is  distinct possibility.

In his confession, he made it very  clear to say that they were about to have sex before he killed her.  But was it consensual  sex on her part?  It would be interesting to see when the  forensic evidence comes back  indicating whether i they did have sex and if she may have been raped by him.

There have also been reports in the media that Stefany was a lesbian. In fact news anchor  George Stephanopoulos of ABC News reported  this.  As he said “It’s clear she’s sort of stooped over and looking down,” “This may be a new experience for her to go to a hotel room with somebody she met just a few hours later. It also may play into her own issues with sexual identity problems. So there may have been some shame or discomfort involved,” he said.

If that is the case and she was a lesbian, that would be yet another reason why she would not want to have sex  with a man. Maybe her intention was only to go to his hotel room and get the money Joran  may have borrowed from her and then leave.

Maybe he asked her to stay and have a coke with him and she obliged in order to be polite.  After all,   an empty  bottle  of Coke light and another  bottle of Coke was found in the room as though two people were drinking two different drinks.

Maybe he told her he had to go to the bathroom and wanted to take  shower because in his mind, he may have had plans to have sex with her. Maybe that is when she allegedly  looked at his computer and discovered who he was and wanted to leave. Maybe he wouldn’t let her leave without having sex with her.

The fact that she was found with her pants off and her underpants on may have also been indication that she was sexually assaulted. Maybe Joran attacked her by throwing her on to  the bed.

Maybe he struggled take off her pants and she resisted and  fought back. Maybe that was why there were bruises on her knees and on the bottoms of her feet. Maybe she was kicking him in her attempts to fight back fr0m possibly being raped. Maybe that is what got him mad enough to fling her off the bed, sheet and all.

In his confession he didn’t say that he yanked her out of bed sheet and all, with such force that  she was found lying on the floor with the sheet under her.

He didn’t say that the mattresses were in disarray and the bed was a complete mess.

He didn’t say that there were bruises on the bottom of her feet and under he knees .

He didn’t say she may have kicked him to fight him off.

He didn’t say there were scratches on her neck  and chin and an open flesh wound on her finger.

He didn’t say that he threw his used worn shirt  that he wore the night before over her like she was a hamper.

Even though did say that he gave her a karate chop at the neck which broke it, he didn’t say he was sorry.

He didn’t say this because this sociopath is incapable of feelings of empathy, sorrow . His alleged tears were not tears of remorse, Instead ,they were tears of upset and frustration that he got caught.

This sick narcissist actually thought that he could get away killing her just like he allegedly did with Natalie.

We know that psychopaths and sociopaths often follow the same ritualistic patterns.

Did Natalie Holloway who was described by her friends and family members as sexually inexperienced and a virgin, not want to go all the way with Joran and have sex with him ?

In his upset did he give her a karate chop and break her neck and kill her the same way he killed Stefany, who may also have refused to have sex with him?

In his undercover admission, to a reporter, Joran  said that Natalie had a spasm and then fell to the ground and stopped breathing. Did Joran cause that to happen out of anger?

Back then he had  a helpful daddy to assist  him in figuring out what to do with Natalie’s  dead body.

But now he had no one to rely on, except his own dim wits. He figured that if he left her in the hotel room, by the time someone discovered her, he would be long gone and no one could find him.

He figured that they could never prove that  it was him who  killed Stefany.

But little did he know that  what he thought was a third class  hotel in a third world country had a first surveillance system.

That is why  he broke down when he saw that this time there was no way he could get away with murder.

Mayumi Heene Balloon Mom’s Body Language Shows Signals of Being An Abused Woman

Balloon Boy
It came as no surprise to me after it was discovered that the whole balloon incident was a hoax, that the Sheriff asked Mayumi if she wanted to stay in a safe house. Unsurprisingly she declined. Why? Because she is reacting like a typical abused woman who is in denial and who doesn’t want to upset the situation.
Before I learned about the extent of Mayumi’s abuse, I clearly saw it on television. She had to ask for permission to leave in order to tend to her vomiting child. That was a HUGE red flag for me. Most mothers would react with extreme urgency when their child was ill. It’s a mother’s instincts. But it is not an abused mothers instincts. Oven times, they sit back and do nothing out of fear.
Because that behavior of Mayumi’s was so disturbing I wanted to learn more about her so I watched the episode of Wife Swap where she became very verbally abusive to her “swapped” husband, Mr. Silver. Oftentimes when a person is abused they will mimic the behavior of their abuser. It doesn’t always happen but it did play out in Mayumi’s situation. In a sense, it is similar to the Stockholm Syndrome where you identify with your captor, but it’s really not the Stockholm Syndrome per se. The captor she is identifying with is her own captor who verbally abuses her- Richard. So she transferred his behavioral model on to the situation with Mr. Silver.
Mayumi also mirrors the words of her husband, which she revealed on Wife Swap,” that they are descendents from aliens”. I am sure that she didn’t believe this before she met Richard.
When I saw the video of Richard screaming at her at the top of his lungs when she wasn’t holding the tether to his balloon properly, I got sick to my stomach from he sample I heard.
If this is what little Falcon hears day and night, no wonder he gets sick to his little stomach as well. No wonder he vomits a lot. When talking to Diane Sawyer Richard said Falcon vomits a lot because he has asthma. No. I think Falcon vomits a lot because his father is always angry and yelling violently at his mother.
I also happened to watch Richard’s first Wife Swap show where he said in essence he was glad he was married to a Japanese woman who didn’t run her mouth like the swapped wife did. His verbally abusive behavior was also nauseating to me, but not as nauseating as his physically abusive behavior on the second show where he threw food and threw milk over Mrs. Sheri Silver’s head. I was shocked. I could only imagine what he was doing to his real wife Mayumi. And then I found out.
I read on the internet where the deputy Sheriff of Larimer County came to the Heene home after Mayumi apparently called 9ll. When the deputy got there he saw there was blood in Mayumi’ s eye, a red mark on her cheek and her eye was swelling. She made some lame excuse that her contact was giving her trouble. In fact the deputy remarked that she wouldn’t even look up so he could see her eye. She was clearly protecting her abuser.
Who knows what else Richard has done to Mayumi over the years! He definitely expects her to do all the domestic chores and doesn’t pitch in to help as was revealed on Wife Swap.
According to a former business associate of Richard’s with whom he had a falling out due to his temper issues, Barabara Slusser also became friends with Mayumi. She told ABC News that “whatever Richard says goes and that she is basically his slave” .
What Barabara says next is very disturbing and very indicative of a woman who is abused as she tells ABC “He kept her isolated and separated from everyone else. She honestly asked me one time, ‘Is there something wrong with way we live?’ She wasn’t sure that American women lived this way with her husbands.”
How incredibly sad for Mayumi. But how did Mayumi get into this situation with Richard that she has been in since she married him a dozen years ago? Why did she pick a Richard type- an abuser?
There are many reasons why women will marry and or stay with an abuser, One of the many reasons has to do with imprinting. What we experience while growing up can often stick in our psyches. So we may subconsciously be attracted to those personality types that we find familiar.
According to Barbara Slusser, she said the following to ABC about her friend Mayumi. “She’s from Japan. She told me stories about her life in Japan with her father. He was very overbearing and abusive. She came over here to be an actress,” Slusser said. “Who does she meet? Richard Heene. They met in acting school when she could barely speak English. He wowed her. She kind of went from the frying pan to the fire.”
So apparently, if what Slusser says is true, than it may make sense why she agreed to go with Richard. She may have also wanted to stay in the US to get away from her abusive father for good and become a citizen get a green card so that may be another motivation for her sticking with Richard.
Freud once said, what we don’t resolve, we repeat”. I think this may be the case working here. Perhaps Mayumi didn’t resolve her issues with her allegedly abusive father and repeated them with Richard.
Having said all of this in terms of Mayumi being a victim of domestic violence and in essence going along for the ride, I don’t really see her as a co- conspirator but rather as a tragic victim. The consequences of her sticking up for herself or telling Richard that she didn’t want to participate in the hoax may have resulted in more verbal and perhaps more severe physical violence, soi she did what he said.
I think that information about her being an abused wife should come into play in terms of whether she is charged ort not. I think it would be such a shame for her to be put in prison and taken away from those boys. She is probably what allows them to be sane and civilized. You could clearly see her tenderness and love towards her older boy as he rubbed him and hugged him.
When I heard David Lane the attorney speak on the Today show I heard him say David Lane, the attorney
“I’m not their marriage counselor, and I’m not their priest,” he said. “I’m Richard’s defense attorney, so I can only comment on the charges.”
I thought that was a rather cold and disgusting statement.
Mr. Lane, You may not be their counselor or a priest but you can certainly have some compassion to suggest that they see a counselor or a priest so Mayumi won’t eventually end up like millions of abused women around the world one day- dead at the hands of her abusive husband Richard .

PS. Comedianne  Sundra Coonquist who knew Mayumi  speaks on  She too is frightened for Mayumi as  she confrims  exactly what I am saying regarding Mayumi being in danger. If the sheriff offered her to go  to a safehouse they must have seen that something was not right. I strongly believe that Richard can do something drastic to Mayumi and to the children if he thinks he will be going away to prison. Rest assured that when he is in prison,  no one will be waiting on him hand and foot like Mayumi does. I pray he doesn’t harm her or the kids. He needs to be watched like a hawk. Thahnk goddness the media is camped out there to keep an eye on things.
